Maranga

The sensation of lying in a Hästens Marange is one of weightlessness. This bed is the very definition of responsive pliability. As the body sinks into it, it is received with a gentle hug. Upon getting up, the bed follows the body’s movement then immediately returns to its original firm, smooth state.

Nature’s finest materials come together in Hästens Maranga: horsetail hair, wool, cotton and flax. They are joined by hand with the layer-upon-layer technique Hästens devised – and perfected – themselves.

Side-stitching completes the work. That alone takes two hours. Following the brand’s iconic fabric pattern to the letter, each stitch is placed in precisely the right place.
